Living a Spiritual Life

Living a Spiritual Life
Living a Spiritual Life

When I was in my 30’s I yearned for something more.

I was a busy professional and had a busy family life and yet it felt like there was a hole in my life. I was missing the spiritual component to make me feel whole and complete.

A friend of mine recommended a Spiritual Life Coach who lived in a geodesic dome up in the San Juan islands outside of Seattle. I scheduled a spiritual retreat with her for the weekend.   One of the first things she had me do was go for a walk in nature overlooking the water. I couldn’t figure out what was the point of walking around. All I could think of was how is this spiritual?  After I spent the weekend with her I began to relax, learned how to meditate and begin to look at the life I had created for myself. All doing, no being… She recommended I attend a New Thought church to learn spiritual principles and deepen my spiritual practice.

As I began to connect more deeply to the Spirit within I began to immerse myself in a spiritual way of life. I was in a healing workshop that talked about healing relationships by feeling your feelings!  The healing is in the feeling. I didn’t want to feel I wanted a solution to my life and do that.  Yet, as I began to feel my feelings, layers and layers of negative thinking and trauma began to lift from my life.  I was more present.

And then I had a calling to be a Spiritual Life Coach. I became ordained as a peace minister, led spiritual journeys to Egypt, Israel, England and Bali, facilitated a women’s spiritual group and spiritual retreats for many years,  as well as supported many clients in finding their way in their healing journey.

And then life happened – got a divorce, and changed my career to being a professional organizer. I let go of my practice and called it good.  Recently the calling returned. With all of the chaos going on in the world I needed to return to the place I belong resuming my work as a Spiritual Life Coach.  I have many years of transformation and healing to share now and wisdom from my life that will be beneficial to many. My Spiritual Journey didn’t stop, my life just changed.

It’s time for all of us to listen more deeply to the wisdom within and heal anything unlike love in our lives to be at peace despite the chaos that is happening in the world. Our world is transforming whether we like it or not.

Let’s join together and create a world that works for everyone. Let’s turn up our inner light so the predominate focus is love and truth and creating a new world of oneness.

One step at a time.  One feeling at a time.  One healing at a time.

We can do this!  Blessings!

Love is the Answer

In my family we have several different spiritual perspectives. My Dad said when we were old enough to choose our spiritual path it would be up to us to choose one. And no matter what perspective we chose we support each other in that choice. In last week’s Meditation Healing Circle, we were talking about following a Divine plan. And if we sit and meditate to listen to wisdom of that plan our life will be divine.
