What if you accepted the idea that you are amazing just the way you are. Then nothing would get in the way of your success! My son just graduated from high school and throughout his high school years he decided he was going to be a fire fighter. He attended fire service [...]

I can do life by myself is a lie — It takes a tribe to make it happen.
One of the greatest life lessons I learned hiking the West Coast Trail is it’s okay to ask for help from my team to navigate a big hike. “Ask and you shall receive” is the motto. [...]

Following where the trail leads you…
When I began this journey of hiking the West Coast Trail I thought it was impossible and it was sure craziness for me to try. According to Tom Bodett, “In school you’re taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you’re give a test that [...]

Being rescued on the beach
We woke up the next morning at 5 am and the tides stretched out for miles. We packed up our gear and walked next store with ease. My sense of nature winning this battle was not not lost on me. The family of 10 and the twenty year [...]

July 20 – Day 4 – Part 1
My sister Janice, cancer survivor
When I began this journey I was pretty scared that this was an impossible feat and the literature even said, “More than 100 seriously injured hikers are evacuated every season. …incidents of injury and hypothermia could lead to death”… So [...]

July 19 – Day 3
Woody, Puce, Theresa and Lawrence

July 18 – Day 2
Riding the Trolly Car across the river!
Long day of hiking 8 or 9 miles depending on who you ask. Theresa called it the “Monster March” – 11 am to 8 pm. We started thinking of different names we could call our team — Impossible Headbands” for the [...]

Clear You Clutter Transform your Life Click image to view video

The Truth of Me Rummaging through the closet of my mind
Searching and searching but have yet to find
The truth of me.
Although I know that it is in there
A garment I want so desperately to wear
Just hiding from me
I quickly discard a few remnants from my past
And toss some borrowed and donated pieces out fast
But still the truth evades me
I haven't made the slightly scratch nor dent
Cause the clutter and garbage is omnipresent
Deeply burying the reality of me
I hastily decide to throw it all away
Realizing that none of it came home here to stay
Just a temporary illusion of me
I found what I need in the closet's core
Now, I don't have to search no more
And I can be free.
